Leeanne Gillespie Seaver, MA, is mom to three kids, including her eldest son, Dane, who is profoundly deaf.  She serves on the Advisory Board for the National Center on Low Incidence Disabilities, the American College of Educators/DHH Join-Together Executive Advisory, and for AFB/Bridge Multimedia.  She is also a Commissioner with the Colorado Commission for the Deaf & Hard of Hearing. Leeanne's particular interests lie in advocacy and special education law. She speaks nationally and internationally on this topic, and about the importance of parent involvement in educational systems. She works professionally as a writer and television producer.
